1. puree the strawberries and pass through a fine sieve.
2. Place the strawberries into a heavy based saucepan and add the sugar ,
Ale-Gar, water and zest in a pan and bring to the simmer,stiring regularly and reduce gently for approx 2 mins.
3. Then add the red wine and bring back to the simmer.
Remove from heat and sere warm or cool.
