Classic Eaton Mess

Ingredients:

 Use fresh, frozen or tinned strawbs to make this an easy dessert

 575ml whipping cream6 med shop purchased meringues [broken into small pieces
450 g strawberries
icing sugar
sprig of mint 

 
Method:

Mash the strawberries with a fork

  1. whip the cream until it forms a peak and fold in the strawberries and broken meringue

  2. scoop into chilled serving glasses, top with a little broken meringue and a sprig of mint and chill 
    serve immediately
