Almond Crumble cookies

Notes:
 
Ingredients:

50 g Flaked Almonds
75g Marzipan ( chopped )
200g Plain Four
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
125g Unsalted Butter
125g Light Muscovado sugar
1 med fresh egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
 
Method:

pre-heat oven to 180 dgr C  Gas mark 4

sieve the flour and bicarb into a mixing bowl and rub in the butter until it resembles breadcrumbs.
Stir in the Almonds Marzipan and sugar and mix well.
Whisk the egg  and vanilla essence together and add to the marzipan mixture.
Mix until well combined and drop tblspoons of the mix onto a greased tray or non stick perchment .
Bake in the oven for 12 -15 mins
Once cooked leave on the tray for 10 mins before removing and placing on a baking tray.
 
Serves: 12 biscuits
