Festive Rum Butter

Ingredients:

125g (4 ½ oz) unsalted butter
125g (4 ½ oz) light brown muscovado sugar
¼ tsp allspice
90ml (3 fl oz) dark rum 


 
Method:

Method Place butter into a bowl and beat until soft
Add the sugar, allspice to the butter beating well until light and fluffy
Beat in the rum a little at a time, until well incorporated
Chill for 20 – 30 minutes then either
a)      place in a serving bowl or
b)      Place in a star tube piping bag and pipe butter onto a non stick paper and place into the refrigerator
