An English Chef in New York - 14/07/08

After an overwhelmingly successful trip to New York to take part in the world famous Fancy Food Fair, I returned home to news of a quite incredible honour.

Awarding Winning Recipe! - 14/07/08

My recipe for 'Old English Lamb and Potato Pie' beat off competition from hundreds of international chefs to win the award for "Best Potato Recipe of The World". The awards, given out by the Peruvian Potato Council, are considered the highest tribute in the industry and I'm delighted to have been selected for the prize. As if that wasn't enough they also gave an Honourable Mention to my Potato and Celeriac Gratin (garnish), making me the first chef to win two awards at the competition!.

The main winning dish uses some of the best ingredients Britain has to offer like stunning quality Lamb, quality British potatoes, a creamy Colston Basset Stilton cheese and a splash of my own historic Ale-Gar to help set this dish above the global competition
